Every year is something different. Solar cycle is going down, so last year tactic had to be changed.
10m was just for few mults, similar to last year. But 15m was disappointment. 40m, fortunately, replaced 15m. Surprisingly, I had almost the same NA QSOs number both years. But I made cca +140 QSOs this year. Nice gifts were 80m NA QSOs, a few, but of good signals (thanks to K9AY RX ANT).
Circumstances also played with me. Neither HW, nor SW issues. No power outage, no thunderstorms. A bit low activity compared to spring and autumn contests, so I was able to play more with dual CQ and train various tactics. I miss my smaller tribander A4S this time and it was visible, I have to prepare it for use ASAP. I had to use 20m InvV more instead of A4S.
Not a lot of sleep before the contest, it was hard to went asleep during Saturday daylight, when brain is still thinking about what should be done better. But good „caffee plan“ allowed me to run full time. Sometimes also my bottom on the chair have to be the part of the final score, hi.
