My nowadays antenna setup limited my participation in contests to 160 m band. I hope, that conditions will be good and my new toys – ACOM 2000A (1,5 kW out) and K9AY RX loop, did good job. But CONDX was terrible in this part of EU. Few NA big guns and few stations pulled from noise – it was the whole weekend picture of TOP band CONDX. I often decided to sleep for an hour and hoped, that
CONDX will be better, but every wake up shows the same noise with 1 or 2 stations per hour… Often I heard EU stations with good RX antenna setup, and I was better in reading callsigns with only K9AY loop… Something happened on the way of signal between EU and NA, hi.
